Delivered quickly and charged up within an hour, we used the ball successfully in the wet and cold with U/7 and U/8 training last weekend. It helped the young ones understand when to pass the ball and also to react to score a try. We now have to see whether they can still react in absence of the prompt from the ball! Great idea and other age groups in our club are interested in buying the bigger versions.

The buzzball is a fantastic resource that has not only improved the children’s passing, it has ensured far swifter progression than if a standard ball was used. It reduces the need for instruction and enables the children to focus fully on the drill. I would recommend it to all junior clubs and schools for rugby and wider hand eye coordination games, it could even be employed at senior level for complex set moves.

I have been coaching age grade / junior rugby for 5 years now. I started coaching my eldest and I have now started coaching our youngest at Torquay Athletic RFC U7’s. We have started using the buzz ball after I saw it advertised on Facebook. We use buzz ball games for warm ups as well as the first tag games. Using the buzz ball totally eliminates the ‘classic shouting’ of pass the ball from parents or coaches. This means that the U7’s players start to communicate with each other; learning as a team, rather rely upon the coaches to instruct them and tell them what to do. Our U7’s training has become massively more effective, fun and efficient. The players love the games, they’re talking more as a group. This is a great rugby product and I think something that all age grade rugby coaches could and should use. Thank you again.
